We're looking for an experienced telecommunications Outside Plant Engineer to join our team. The Outside Plant (OSP) Engineer designs and budgets for construction of telecommunication cable infrastructure. Analyzes the existing system designs to create forecasts for anticipated growth. Maintains close working relationships with internal and external construction teams to support all build activities. Works with the internal GIS Analyst team to prepare accurate, detailed construction and installation drawings. The ideal Outside Plant Engineer candidate will have demonstrated experience in telecommunication measurements, clearances, safety guidelines, and structural requirements. The candidate should be fully knowledgeable of the requirements set forth in telecom practices for electrical protection and have a strong understanding of the National Electric Code and the National Electric Safety Code.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with two years outside plant telecommunications experience or five years of outside plant telecommunications engineering experience
